TalloLabs is a personal brand and independent development studio operated from India. The apps and services developed under this brand are designed with privacy as a core principle.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our applications and visit our website (tallolabs.dev).

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. All TalloLabs apps are designed with a privacy-first approach. Your data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

All warranty and product data is stored locally on your device
We do not have access to your receipts, warranties, or purchase information
No analytics or tracking tools are used
No third-party SDKs or services collect your data

Our website is hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard access logs including IP addresses for security and performance purposes (retained for less than 30 days)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website traffic and improve user experience
GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data and device information
We use a cookie consent banner to manage your tracking preferences in compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy Directive

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

No server-side processing: Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, the traditional legal bases (consent, legitimate interest, etc.) do not apply to us as a data controller.
On-device processing: All data processing occurs locally on your device under your control, using Apple's native frameworks.
iCloud sync: If you enable iCloud sync, Apple acts as the data processor under their own privacy policies and terms.

Device Permissions

Our apps may request the following device permissions. All permissions are optional, and you can use the app with limited functionality if you choose not to grant them.

Camera

Used to scan receipts and warranty documents. Images are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

Photos

Used to import receipt images from your photo library. Selected photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose them.

Notifications

Used to send warranty expiry reminders. You can customize or disable notifications at any time in the app settings.

On-Device AI Processing

WarrantyVault uses intelligent features to scan and extract information from receipts. This processing happens entirely on your device:

Apple Intelligence*: On supported devices (iPhone 15 Pro and later with Apple Intelligence enabled), we utilize Apple's on-device Foundation Models for receipt scanning.
Fallback Processing: On other devices, we use pattern-matching algorithms that also run entirely on your device.

No receipt images or extracted data are ever sent to external servers for processing.

* Apple Intelligence and Foundation Models are features provided by Apple Inc. See the Third-Party Trademarks section below.

iCloud Sync

WarrantyVault offers optional iCloud sync to keep your data synchronized across your Apple devices. When enabled:

Data is synced directly to your personal iCloud account
We do not have access to your iCloud data
iCloud sync is governed by Apple's privacy policies
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings

Data Retention

Since all app data is stored locally on your device:

Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app
If you use iCloud sync, data retention in iCloud is governed by Apple's policies and your iCloud storage settings
We do not retain any data on our servers because we do not collect any

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party services for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or any other purpose. Our apps are built entirely with native Apple frameworks and do not integrate external SDKs.

International Users

Our apps are available worldwide. Since we do not collect personal data, our compliance approach is straightforward across all jurisdictions:

European Union (GDPR) & United Kingdom (UK GDPR)

Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, there is no data held by us that requires action on our part. All data remains under your control on your device.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information as defined under California law. Since no personal data is collected, the rights to know, delete, and opt-out are automatically satisfied.

Brazil (LGPD) & India (DPDP Act)

Our privacy-first approach ensures compliance with these regulations. No personal data is collected, processed, or transferred by us.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your information:

Access: View all your data directly within the app
Rectification: Edit any information directly within the app
Deletion: Delete any or all data from within the app, or simply uninstall the app
Portability: Export features may be available within the app
Restriction & Objection: Since we don't process your data, these rights are inherently satisfied

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU/UK). Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children. Our apps comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

Apple, iPhone, iPad, iOS, iCloud, Apple Intelligence, and Foundation Models are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

TalloLabs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. References to Apple products and technologies are for descriptive purposes only to explain compatibility and features of our applications.
